An open door.
Marqed is committed to making the house accessible to every guest, regardless of how they browse. This is a working statement; accessibility is treated as ongoing work, not a finish line.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our working target across the storefront.
What we do
- Semantic, structured HTML so assistive technology can navigate the page.
- Full keyboard navigation for menus, links, forms, and the checkout flow.
- Descriptive text alternatives for product imagery and the live monogram previews.
- Considered color contrast and type sizes drawn from the house design system.
- Layouts that respond to zoom and reflow on smaller screens.
Known limitations
The live, in-browser pattern previews are rendered to a canvas. They carry text descriptions, but the rendered detail itself is visual. We are continuing to improve the non-visual experience of personalization, and welcome feedback on where it falls short.
